The right-arm seamers complemented each other in Jaipur, like they did repeatedly last season, and took four wickets each to dismiss the visitors for 256 on the first day.Rajasthan could have finished the day in a stronger position had Rameez Khan and Anand Rajan not added 88 for the eighth wicket after MP were 150 for 7.Pankaj and Rituraj utilised the bowler-friendly conditions after stand-in captain Vineet Saxena chose to field, and they were ably supported by left-arm pacer Aniket Choudhary. Most of the wickets didn’t come off exceptional balls; the accuracy of the seamers forced the MP batsmen into committing mistakes. While Naman Ojha and Jalaj Saxena, MP’s aggressive batsmen, threw their wickets away by chasing wide balls, the two standout dismissals were those of Zafar Ali and the captain Devendra Bundela.Both the Singhs hardly got the new ball to swing, but once the senior partner had a word with Rituraj after Ojha’s dismissal, the younger Singh started bending his back. The result was some extra bounce, which induced an edge from Ali to the keeper.In the second session, when Bundela and Rameez Khan had begun to form a partnership, Pankaj struck. Despite bowling an immaculate line and length, Pankaj gone wicketless in his first two spells, but moments after Bundela made his 36th first-class fifty with an edge through the slip cordon, Pankaj managed to get one in sharply and trapped Bundela lbw.Rajasthan were primed to end MP’s innings, but with the blazing sun taking its toll on the three seamers, who had bowled more than 50 overs collectively in the first two sessions, Rameez and Rajan dominated the final session.The moment the second new ball became available after 80 overs, Saxena gave it to Pankaj, who had been resting while the part-timers were operating. Rituraj had taken three wickets in his first spell, and Pankaj did the same in his last, dismissing Rameez, Rajan and Ishwar Pandey to end MP’s innings.”The wicket did ease out after the early morning moisture evaporated but still, it was commendable on Rituraj and Aniket’s part to keep asking questions of batsmen,” Pankaj said. “After the kind of first session we had [MP were 90 for 5 at lunch], we would have ideally liked to dismiss them for 200, but nevertheless we have done our job.”Pankaj has been a successful bowler on the domestic circuit for the last five years and has had a bigger role to play in this game after the captain Hrishikesh Kanitkar was sidelined by a calf injury. “We discussed it in the meeting [ahead of the game] that I shall have to bear the additional responsibility of not just leading the bowling attack but also being more involved by interacting with the bowlers more than before. It is expected that it will take time to get accustomed to what a new captain is thinking and we managed it well, I think.”Rituraj was cramping after bowling an eight-over opening spell followed by a nine-over spell either side of lunch. Pankaj then told him to cut back a little. “Since he had bowled a long spell, I asked him to hold himself back a little and bowl in short spells,” Pankaj said. “And anyway we had decided to rotate the three of us. As a result, while Rituraj bowled a long first spell up front, I bowled a shorter one and then bowled a seven-over spell after lunch. The more we interact with each other, the better we perform as a team.”

وقال سيميوني في تصريحات لقناة “موفي ستار” الإسبانية، عقب المباراة: “لقد كانت مباراة جيدة، في الشوط الأول لعبنا بشكل جيد، كانت لدينا مواقف مهمة للتسجيل، ولكن لم يكن لدينا الحظ اللازم للفوز”.

وأضاف: “كان يمكننا الخروج بنقطة من المباراة، سقطنا في العديد من الأخطاء السهلة جدًا، نهنئ برشلونة، هم في طريقهم للبطولة والحصول على اللقب، ويستحقون ذلك لأنهم قدموا موسمًا قويًا للغاية في الدوري”.

واختتم بالحديث عن عدم مشاركة كوكي: “كان لديه حمل زائد من أمس، وسنخوض 3 مباريات مهمة على التوالي، وحتى لا نخسره لنهاية الموسم، اخترنا أن نلعب بـ فيتسيل، وأن يحصل كوكي على راحة أكبر”.

Com a permanência assegurada no Santos graças ao sócios do clube, que barraram os dois pedidos de impeachment, o presidente José Carlos Peres deve promover uma série de movimentações nos bastidores do clube nos próximos dias. Na última segunda-feira, inclusive, teve uma reunião com os executivos do clube para trilhar o caminho a seguir a partir de agora.

O primeiro ato deve ser solicitar ao Conselho Deliberativo uma reunião com o intuito de compor o Comitê de Gestão com novos nomes. Antes de solicitar o encontro, Peres pediu ao CD um parecer a respeito da possibilidade de insistir na entrada de alguns nomes no Comitê de Gestão que já foram vetados anteriormente. O estatuto do clube diz que o prazo mínimo é de seis meses, mas existem algumas interpretações distintas.

Os nomes deAnilton Luiz Perão, José Bruno Carbone e Matheus Del Corso Rodrigues foram rejeitados pelo Conselho em reunião que tratou do assunto antes da Assembleia Geral. Agora, após se livrar do impeachment, Peres vai tentar fazer com que eles sejam aprovados para que, enfim, possam integrar o colegiado, desfalcado após as saídas de Andres Rueda, Urubatam Helou, Hanie Issa e José Carlos de Oliveira.

Por enquanto, o Comitê tem Estevam Juhas, Fábio Gaia e Pedro Doria, além de Orlando Rolo, vice-presidente.Ex-presidente do Conselho Deliberativo do Peixe,Paulo Schiff também pode integrar o Comitê. Sua entrada é outra que terá de passar pelo crivo dos conselheiros nos próximos dias.

Outra medida a ser tomada por Peres diz respeito a alguns funcionários do clube que tomaram partido a favor de Rollo durante as últimas semanas. Na visão do dirigente e de seus apoiadores, alguns empregados do clube deixaram clara a torcida por seu impeachment e, por isso, não têm mais clima para seguir no Santos. A “limpa” deve começar já nos próximos dias.

Peres pretende também dar sequência às questões relacionadas a auditoria que está sendo feita no clube. Existe um portal de transparência no ar, com as metas a serem cumpridas. A ideia é usar o cenário político favorável para tentar dar prosseguimentos aos projetos.

Embora entenda que não há mais clima para governar ao lado de Rollo, o presidente não deve tentar nenhuma medida drástica para tirar o vice de seu cargo. Rollo, por sua vez, vai esperar a poeira baixar para avaliar quais os próximos passos no Santos. Os dois nutrem uma relação tensa desde o começo da gestão, algo que se tornou quase insustentável nas últimas semanas.

Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo and Sunil Narine are yet to formally give their consent to represent Trinidad & Tobago, instead of their IPL franchises, in the forthcoming Champions League Twenty20, a T&T board official has told ESPNcricinfo. IPL franchises also say they are unaware of any decision taken by the players to represent T&T.Earlier this week the T&T sports minister, Anil Roberts, had said that the three players agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding to play for their country instead of their IPL franchise. In return, the government would compensate them with a suitable match fee.A T&T Cricket Board official, speaking on condition of anonymity, however told ESPNcricinfo that a final decision was yet to be reached. “The players have not yet signed on a contract either way, whether they would like to play for the IPL franchise or Trinidad and Tobago. (But) We should have a decision within the next 48 hours.”The three franchises that the players represent are IPL winners Kolkata Knight Riders, defending CLT20 champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings; all three feature in the CLT20 to be held in South Africa this year. All three players have been influential performers for their respective franchises.The CLT20 organisers have asked T&T to play the pre-tournament qualifiers, instead of giving the team a direct entry. T&T, who made the finals of the inaugural CLT20 in 2009, form part of a six-team qualifying pool, divided into two, with the winner from each set joining the top eight teams in the main event. The lack of direct entry has evoked criticism from the T&T board.So far none of the players have commented on the issue in public but their franchises have not taken kindly to Roberts’ comments. A Mumbai Indians spokesperson said that as far as they understand the situation, the T&T sports minister has spoken to the players or their agents but that no decision has yet been made on who the players will play for. Venky Mysore, the chief executive of Knight Riders, said in a text message that the franchise did not wish to comment at the moment but might have an update in a day or two. No one from the Super Kings’ management could be reached for a comment.The franchises’ reaction contradicted Roberts’ statement that he had explained to them the exact reason the players should be representing T&T. “So while they may be upset, I tell them I am very sorry they are upset, but the [T&T] population wants our best players, the government wants our best players,” Roberts had said. “The players want to play for Trinidad & Tobago and they will play for Trinidad & Tobago.”There has been no official reaction yet from the CLT20 governing council, but Rajiv Shukla, chairman IPL governing council, said he was unaware about the development. “It is between the player and the franchises,” Shukla told ESPNcricinfo. “Let the franchise approach us and then we will check.”The IPL Player Contract has a Clause 3.1 (i) containing three varying conditions regarding the players’ CLT20 participation. The clause states that a player will play solely for a franchise in the IPL and in the CLT20 if the team qualifies for it unless the player is not selected for the squad or is released by the franchises “in its absolute discretion” to play for “another team which has qualified” for the CLT20. It is the third condition which leaves the situation open-ended stating that the player can play for another team in the CLT20 if, “the rules of the CLT20 (or any agreement to which the Franchisee has agreed) permit the Player to elect to play for another team (not being a team in the League) which has qualified for such CLT20 and the Player so elects.” The rules of the IPL however state that it is the IPL franchise that has the first choice over a player in the CLT20. Under those conditions, the IPL franchisee has to pay the player’s second club/ first-class team an amount approaching $150,000 per player.Incidentally Pollard, Bravo and Narine were part of the T&T squad in the inaugural edition of the CLT20, when they lost to New South Wales in the final in 2009. But back then Pollard and Narine had no IPL contracts and Bravo had played for Mumbai Indians, who had not qualified for the CLT20.

وأفاد الصحفي الشهير بشبكة “سكاي سبورتس” أن توخيل ستكون لديه فرصة واحدة باهظة الثمن في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية المرتقبة، ويمكن أن يكون ذلك صفقة هاري كين.

وأشار إلى أن بايرن ميونخ يريد مهاجمًا جديدًا في الميركاتو المرتقب، ويبدو أن هاري كين سيكون هدفهم الرئيسي في ذلك المركز.
