O goleiro Matheus Vidotto foi afastado do elenco do Corinthians. Aos 24 anos, ele estava relacionado para o confronto com o Avaí, neste sábado, mas foi cortado.

Matheus Vidotto foi afastado porque se irritou com a escolha da comissão técnica por Caíque França. Após os desfalques de Cássio (na Seleção Brasileira) e Walter (lesionado), Caíque França assumiu a posição. Dois anos mais novo que Matheus, ele entrou no segundo tempo do jogo contra o Atlético-PR e foi titular neste sábado, diante do Avaí.

Enquanto o técnico Fábio Carille e o presidente Roberto de Andrade falaram em problemas físicos do goleiro para despistar o afastamento, o diretor de futebol Flávio Adauto usou outro tom para falar sobre a situação de Matheus Vidotto.

-Gente, eu não entendo como se dá tanta importância. O quarto jogador da posição, com todo respeito ao jogador, que é de futuro, mas é um jogador que eventualmente ficaria no banco de reservas e não ficou. É um problema que vamos analisar durante a semana, mas poxa vida. Tem aí o Caíque, o Filipe, o Cássio, o Walter está machucado, um probleminha com um quarto reserva eu nem sei se é um problema ainda. Ninguém da diretoria se pronunciou a respeito. Nós vamos analisar, segunda a terça-feira pode não acontecer nada, pode ou não estar no banco – iniciou Flávio Adauto.

– Enfim, acho que é tão pequeno este problema, diante de tudo que estamos vivendo, que eu não perderia 30 segundos do meu sono e não teria preocupação nem por dez segundos em relação a esse problema. Se tiver um problema, é tão diminuto, tão pequeno, que se quiserem fazer disso uma crise de um time que é primeiro colocado, que está próximo de ser campeão do Brasil, e falarem de um quarto goleiro do Corinthians. Ah, gente, tem uns problemas do Sub-20 também, só falta falar disso também. Perdeu no Sub-20, no Sub-17 perdeu também. Tem muita coisa mais importante do que a possível saída de um quarto reserva do Corinthians – prosseguiu o dirigente.

– Que importância tem isso? Não estamos falando de um Jô, Pablo, Balbuena. Estamos falando de um jogador que não jogou nenhuma partida. Eu acho que isso é procurar pelo no ovo. Se todos os problemas no futebol fosse um jogador reserva não estar atuando ou não ir para o banco, Deus do céu. Nós estamos tão tranquilos, que pode acontecer problemas dez vezes piores que não irá nos abalar. De um time que entrou pra ser rebaixado para a segunda divisão, para não ter crédito sobre nada. Eu era incompetente, a diretoria era incompetente, nós éramos “pés de ratos”, um negócio assim. O Corinthians pode vir a ser campeão, mas pode não ser. Se não vier, o time já fez bastante coisa, ninguém imaginava que esse assunto ia ter importância. Porque no Corinthians uma gripe vira uma pneumonia. Mas ela não atinge a gente, ela fica lá – encerrou Flávio Adauto.

Matheus perdeu a posição de terceiro goleiro do elenco por alguns motivos. No início deste ano, ele viajou à Europa para tirar passaporte italiano e perdeu os jogos da pré-temporada nos Estados Unidos. Depois, ele ainda sofreu com problemas físicos no tornozelo e joelho.

Preterido por Caíque, Matheus agora quer ser negociado pelo Corinthians – ele tem contrato até o fim do ano que vem. A diretoria do clube se pronunciará ainda neste sábado, após o jogo contra o Avaí.

Sem Matheus, Cássio e Walter, o goleiro Filipe, de 21 anos, ficará no banco de reservas. Ele foi relacionado pela primeira vez no elenco profissional do Timão.

وأردف: “نعم أنا معي 27 لاعبًا ولكن أتابع بشكل عام عدد أكبر من اللاعبين، الباب مفتوح أمام الجميع للانضمام للمنتخب”.

وتابع: “الانضمام للمنتخب يتوقف على شكل وأداء اللاعب مع فريقه في الدوري، ومجموعة اللاعبين المتواجدين معي رائعين”.

واستكمل: “اخترت اللاعبين على أساس أدائهم مع أندياتهم ومدى قدرتهم على تطبيق طريقة لعبي”.

واستطرد: “عمل المدرب متوقف على العمل الذي يقوم به النادي، لأن تطور اللاعب لن يكون من خلال مدرب المنتخب، وأتمنى أن يستطيع اللاعبين تطبيق أفكاري في مباراة النيجر”.

واختتم: “عقدي مع اتحاد الكرة 4 سنوات، أعد بتأهل مصر لكأس العالم 2026، ولكننا نحتاج لتطور بسيط على مستوى الكرة المصرية، وسنقاتل في أمم إفريقيا حتى أبعد نقطة”.

Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic side will undoubtedly be heading into Wednesday night’s Premiership fixture against St. Mirren in fine spirits, having just won the 56-year-old manager his first trophy as the Bhoys boss – defeating Hibernian 2-1 at Hampden Park in the League Cup final on Sunday afternoon.

However, while Kyogo Furuhashi and Mikey Johnston both returned from injury to play a part in the cup final last weekend, Postecoglou looks as if he will still be without the services of Jota, James Forrest, Giorgos Giakoumakis, Albian Ajeti and the newly injured David Turnbull for the trip to St. Mirren Park tomorrow evening – all of whom appear to be continued absences due to various knocks.

Although, with the games coming thick and fast for Celtic at present, a fixture against the team who currently sit ninth in the Premiership table may not be the worst time to rest a couple of the Hoops’ more regular starters, while simultaneously presenting the 56-year-old Bhoys boss with the opportunity to field a number of his exciting up and coming youth prospects – arguably the most talented of whom is 19-year-old, Owen Moffat.

Postecoglou must unleash Moffat

Having been brought on in both the 2-1 Premiership win over Ross County and the 2-1 League Cup final victory over Hibs last week, the teenage left-winger is undoubtedly a player who will be pushing for a starting spot in Postecoglou’s side over the coming weeks.

And, considering how impressive the youngster has been for Celtic’s B team side so far this season, it would very much appear as if Moffat is worthy of a shot from the off against St. Mirren on Wednesday evening.

Indeed, the forward is the reserve side’s top goalscorer in the Scottish Lowland League, having bagged 11 times in the division already this season – five more than any of his teammates.

As a result of this form, as well as Celtic’s crippling injury list, Postecoglou called the 19-year-old up to first-team training last week, and the 56-year-old appears to be incredibly impressed with the way the youngster has performed at Lennoxtown.

Speaking about Moffat, the Bhoys boss said: “Life is about opportunity. Not just being in the right place at the right time, but also being ready for it. Moff probably wasn’t in the calculations two weeks ago, but we just had so many injuries and we brought him into training and he has looked bright.

“We brought him on the other night and he looked good. That, to me, is a lesson for every player out there. You have to be ready for that opportunity.”

And, although the Hoops’ injury list has been slighted shortened by the return of both Kyogo and Johnston, should Postecoglou wish to keep as many of his first-team players as possible fit over the coming weeks, he must start rotating his squad more efficiently – leading us to believe that the Greek-Australian coach simply must start Moffat against St. Mirren tomorrow night.

Depois do presidente Vanderlei Pereira soltar uma nota oficial no site do clube, foi a vez do meia Danilo Barcelos se pronunciar, após o treino desta terça-feira, no Majestoso. O jogador, apesar da péssima fase vivida pela equipe, se mostrou confiante em uma reviravolta na fase final do campeonato. Para isso, Danilo prega a união do elenco com a torcida alvinegra.

– Acho que todos os clubes passaram por esse momento, até neste ano. É um campeonato muito complicado, sabemos da situação que estamos e entendemos que é o momento de falar menos e trabalhar mais. Infelizmente entramos nessa situação juntos e temos que sair dela juntos – afirmou.

Para escapar do rebaixamento, a Ponte precisa voltar a somar pontos, tanto dentro de casa quanto fora. Para Danilo, no entanto, o foco principal são as partidas disputadas dentro do Moisés Lucarelli. Serão quatro, até o fim do Brasileirão.

– Temos que ter confiança até o ultimo suspiro. Precisamos de cinco vitórias, e temos quatro jogos em casa. Esperamos conseguir as vitórias. Temos que parar de fazer contas e começar a pontuar o mais rápido possível. O torcedor tem todo direito de estar chateado e a única coisa que venho pedir é que precisamos do apoio deles, pois sempre fizeram a diferença aqui na Ponte Preta – enfatizou Danilo.

Se os resultados não estão aparecendo, é por detalhe, segundo o jogador. Para ele, a Ponte vem tendo boas atuações, apesar de não conseguir sair vitoriosa.

– É até meio clichê vir aqui e falar que precisa mudar atitude, ter mais garra e eu acho que não. A equipe está buscando. Infelizmente as coisas não têm acontecido do jeito que esperamos, mas é importante nós sabermos que estamos lutando com todas as forças e acho que o grupo tem trabalhado dia após dia. O professor tem mostrado os atalhos, é claro que existem erros coletivos que não podem acontecer nesse momento e esperamos mudar pelo menos isso. Errar menos, porque só assim vamos conseguir melhorar na tabela – avaliou.

Quando perguntado sobre o Corinthians, próximo adversário da Macaca, Danilo acredita que a equipe tem que aproveitar o também mau momento que o líder do campeonato vem tendo nas últimas rodadas.

– É o líder, está em uma situação difícil, não consegue encaixar seu estilo de jogo já faz um tempo e acho que temos que aproveitar o momento. Precisamos da vitória de qualquer maneira, mas temos que ter calma, paciência, porque vai ser um jogo muito difícil e não é de qualquer maneira que as coisas acontecem – completou.

Ponte Preta e Corinthians se enfrentam neste domingo, às 17h, no Moisés Lucarelli. Depois, a Macaca enfrenta o Bahia, dia 5/11, fora de casa. A equipe de Eduardo Baptista está atualmente na 18ª posição, com 32 pontos, dois a menos que o Avaí, primeira equipe fora do Z4.

Alastair Cook defended the decision not to change England’s batting order in response to South Africa’s mammoth 241 for 6. According to Tottenham insider John Wenham (via Football Insider), Steven Bergwijn could leave Spurs in January as Fabio Paratici lays the groundwork for an unprecedented transfer spending spree.

The Lowdown: Busy January window

Antonio Conte is said to be pushing for an overhaul of the club’s squad through the arrival of multiple signings, after identifying positions that will need strengthening, such as centre back. This would also involve players leaving the club, in order to free up funds.

Bergwijn has only made seven appearances in the Premier League this season. Disappointingly, he has failed to score in every one of these matches and has only been able to add one assist to his record.

Even from a possession perspective, the Dutchman averages just 11.7 passes per game – the fourth lowest of any Spurs player to feature in the league this season.

The Latest: Bergwijn could leave in January

Speaking to Football Insider, Spurs insider Wenham has named Alli, Winks, Doherty, and Bergwijn as four prime candidates to leave the club in the January transfer window. He claimed that “the homegrown issue will play a big role in this”, saying:

“I would expect one of Dele Alli or Harry Winks so go, not both. That’s where the homegrown issue comes into play.

“Matt Doherty is another player who could go, either on a permanent deal or out on loan.”

He then continued onto Bergwijn, stating: “Other than that, I’m not sure. If an attractive offer came in for Steven Bergwijn I think we would let him go.

“There has been increased talk over the last few weeks about Ajax being interested in him.

“That would be an easy deal to do as we aren’t using wingers at the moment and he isn’t homegrown.”

The Verdict: A confusing, but possible sale

Due to the homegrown issue, this sale could well be very possible. If Spurs truly want to challenge the top four, they will need to bring in some major signings – meaning fringe players, like Bergwijn, may be on the way.

However, this still comes as a surprise. Despite not using wingers at the moment, the attacker provides a different option for Conte to utilise, and is still a young, pacy direct player with plenty of potential to fulfil – hardly the sort of talent you want to give up on too soon.

The manager has also publicly praised Bergwijn as a ‘quality’ player who he will look to use in multiple positions (Football Oranje), so it seems strange that he would allow him to leave the club, even if Paratici is the driving force behind it.

وواصل: “ولكن هذه هي كرة القدم، وعندما تلعب عليك أن تتكيف بسرعة، وفي بعض اللحظات من الموسم يُمكن أنّ يحدث هذا، أعتقد أنه كان مُحبطًاً وحزينًا بعض الشيء، وأنا سأحاول التحدث إلى توخيل في أسرع وقتٍ ممكن”.

ثم أضاف عن العمل مع جراهام بوتر وكيف كان الوضع حتى الآن: “أعتقد أنه شخص إيجابي حقًا ورائع، سنحاول التعلم معه والفوز في أقرب وقت ممكن، أنا أعتقد أن أفكاره واضحة جدًا، لذا أعتقد أنها ستكون سهلة، لكن يستغرق الأمر وقتًا للتكيف مع بعضنا البعض، لكنني أعتقد أنه سيكون على ما يرام”.

واختتم أوباميانج تصريحاته بالحديث عن اللعب بقناع بعد إصابته بكسر في الفك، قائلًا: “أنا أحتاج إلى مزيد من الوقت، لست بخير 100٪ ، ليس من السهل اللعب بقناع وإصابة، فلنأمل أن أستعيد 100٪ في أقرب وقت ممكن”.

أكد الهولندي إريك تين هاج المدير الفني لفريق مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي أن نجمه البرتغالي كريستيانو رونالدو، كان بحاجة لهذا الهدف الذي أحرزه في شباك شيريف تيراسبول بالدوري الأوروبي.

وبعد صيام تهديفي منذ بداية الموسم، سجل رونالدو هدفه الأول في الموسم الجاري، خلال فوز مانشستر يونايتد على شيريف (2-0)، وأحرز الهدف من ركلة جزاء.

كما أكد المدرب الهولندي أن رونالدو ملتزم تمامًا مع مانشستر يونايتد، بعدما تم تداول شائعات طوال الصيف حول رغبة البرتغالي في الرحيل عن الفريق.

وقال تين هاج: “يمكن أن نتوقع هذا عندما تفوتك فترة ما قبل الموسم، لذلك عليه أن يعمل بجد ويستثمر للحصول على اللياقة المناسبة، ثم سيسجل المزيد من الأهداف”.

وأضاف: “يمكنك أن ترى أن رونالدو قريب حقًا عندما يصبح أكثر لياقة، أعتقد هو ملتزم تمامًا بهذا المشروع وملتزم تمامًا تجاه هذا الفريق، ومشارك تمامًا، كما ترى أيضًا التواصل من حوله وهو يبني علاقات لذلك أنا سعيد بذلك”.

وعن الهدف، أفاد تين هاج في تصريحات نشرها موقع “يويفا” الرسمي: “كريستيانو كان بحاجة إلى هذا الهدف، استمر في الاقتراب، بركلة جزاء، أنت تعلم أن كريستيانو سيسجلها”.

Classificado com a segunda melhor campanha da fase de grupos, o Palmeiras enfrentará pelo terceiro ano consecutivo o Novorizontino nas quartas de final do Paulista. Sem Weverton e ainda à espera de Luan e Deyverson, Luiz Felipe Scolari já começa a pensar na equipe para o mata-mata.

No gol, Fernando Prass será novamente titular. Enquanto o camisa 21 está com a Seleção Brasileira para os amistosos contra Panamá (dia 23) e República Tcheca (dia 26), o ídolo da torcida ocupará sua vaga. Até para ganhar ritmo, foi escalado já contra a Ponte Preta.

-É o Prass que vai jogar. Por isso, ele jogou hoje. No aspecto de revezamento, o Jailson jogaria o jogo passado (contra o São Paulo), mas tivemos um problema com o Jailson e jogou o Weverton. O Prass é para ter ritmo para o próximo jogo – justificou o técnico.

A partir desta quinta, Scolari pode fazer até quatro mudanças na lista de inscritos no Estadual. Duas novidades são certas: o zagueiro Juninho e o centroavante Arthur Cabral. O técnico ainda não divulgou quem sairá, mas nas duas posições há atletas voltando de lesões: Luan já está em transição com a preparação física, enquanto Deyverson ficará de duas a três semanas fora.

Carlos Eduardo pode se tornar um problema, também: ele saiu ainda no primeiro tempo do jogo contra a Ponte Preta com dores no tornozelo e fará exames nesta quinta. Felipão teme perdê-lo para o mata-mata.

Já Antônio Carlos volta de suspensão e deve ser o parceiro de Edu Dracena no fim de semana. Thiago Santos e Diogo Barbosa, que estavam pendurados, passaram o jogo de quarta sem cartão amarelo e entram no mata-mata zerados. O Verdão decidirá a classificação em casa.
