ولكن اليوم، تغير الحال وشارك الخماسي بصورة طبيعية في تدريبات منتخب فرنسا استعدادًا لخوض مباراة الأرجنتين في الوقت المحدد للصحفيين لمدة ربع ساعة.

وكان فيروس الإبل قد هاجم منتخب فرنسا، وهو فيروس يؤثر على التنفس ومنتشر في قطر، ولكن يبدو أن الديوك أصبحوا مكتملين الصفوف مع المدرب ديشامب.

Nathan Bracken, who was ranked the world’s No.1 ODI bowler in 2008, has finally bowed to his aching body and retired from all forms of the game. Bracken, 33, last played for Australia in England two years ago and has since suffered from a chronic knee injury that has limited his appearances for New South Wales.Bracken, a left-arm bowler, played five Tests but was best known as a suffocating limited-overs specialist. His 174 ODI wickets places him sixth on Australia’s list and his contribution was often under-rated.He could swing the ball early in the innings but was equally effective at the death and was a key member of the 2007 World Cup triumph in the Caribbean. In 2009, he was Australia’s ODI player of the Year after being picked in the ICC’s World ODI Team the previous year.Bracken may face another operation just to stabilise the joint to ensure he can have “good use of the knee in the future”. “I really have enjoyed my cricket both internationally and domestically, but unfortunately knee injuries have taken their toll,” he said. “I have had a strong rehabilitation from my last operation and have also looked at altering my bowling action to reduce any further damage in my knee, which would have enabled me to continue playing. But it hasn’t responded.”

Sachin Tendulkar, who underwent a MRI Scan at a Mumbai hospital on Sunday after feeling uneasiness in his knees, had light weight training at the gym and didn’t bat or bowl.Ashish Nehra, who did not play the game against Bangladesh due to a back spasm, joined the team late and opted for some light weight training. Yuvraj Singh did not bat and opted for some stretching exercises. Virender Sehwag, Sreesanth and R Ashwin didn’t come to the training on Tuesday.Bulk of the attention was devoted to batting, though Piyush Chawla, Yusuf Pathan and Munaf Patel did have a bowl. Gautam Gambhir faced the seamers, including the local net bowlers, for the longest time while MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Virat Kohli shared the spinners’ nets, each tackling a few balls each.Interestingly, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan didn’t bowl but to chose to face throwdowns from the coach Gary Kirsten. For the entire duration of the training session, Harbhajan and Zaheer faced only Kirsten. They started playing the drives before they practiced pulling against the short-pitched deliveries. The session was punctuated by Kirsten offering them advice, especially against the bouncers. India have another practice session on Wednesday morning.

تم قبول العديد من الملفات المرشحة من قبل الدول الإفريقية في الأيام الماضية، ودخلت السنغال في القائمة النهائية رغم أنها كانت مرشحة بقوة لاستضافة نسخة 2027.

باستثناء بنين، استضافت جميع البلدان الأخرى البطولة مرة واحدة على الأقل على أراضيها، ولتحديد الفائز، سيزور كاف البلدان المرشحة لتفقد ملاعبها قبل الإعلان الرسمي في 10 فبراير 2023.

وظهر كونتي في مؤتمر صحفي قبل مواجهة برينتفورد يوم الإثنين المقبل في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

وعندما سُئل عن مستقبله، قال كونتي: “أعتقد أنني أود أيضًا في المستقبل ألا أتحدث عن هذا الأمر في المؤتمر الصحفي لأنني أعتقد أن المباراة التي سنلعبها أكثر أهمية”.

It needed a captain’s innings from Khurram Khan to take UAE from the brink of defeat to a one-wicket win against Namibia in a low-scoring match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Chasing 177, UAE slumped to 99 for 7 before Khurram put together 39 for the eighth wicket with Amjad Javed. Namibia struck twice to regain control of the match, but a 33-run last-wicket stand between Khurram and Ahmed Raza gave the hosts the win. Khurram finished with 54 off 103. Namibia’s seamers had put their team on top, with Louis Klazinga taking three wickets, and Kola Burger and Sarel Burger two each.For UAE, the spinners got the early breakthroughs. Left-arm spinner Shadeep Silva took the first three within the first ten overs, and offspinner Mohammad Tauqir pegged away at the middle order.
