O ex-jogador e coordenador das categorias de base do Atlético-MG, Marques, esteve na sede do clube para uma reunião, junto como presidente do Conselho Deliberativo, Rodolfo Gropen, o vice-presidente do Galo, Lásaro Cândido da Cunha, eo gerente administrativo das categorias de base, Gustavo Cupertino.

– Acredito muito nesse projeto e diria que esse é o legado que queremos deixar, trazer novamente o futsal para o Atlético, de forma integrada com o futebol de campo – disse Marques.

O dirigente citou que118 atletas foram avaliados em todo o Brasil nos últimos três meses. Além disso, 236 jogadores fizeram seletivas na Cidade do Galo. O clube tambémobservou jovens na Copa Morro Sabará e realizou amistosos contra equipes da Rocinha.

With batsman Shaun Marsh also picking up an injury during Sunday’s Twenty20, Cricket Australia has named Cameron White to the ODI squad as cover.”Shane Watson is recovering from a hip muscle strain which caused him to miss yesterday’s second Twenty20 match,” Australia’s physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said. “He will continue with treatment and we will assess him over the next 24 hours, before a decision is made on his availability for the first ODI game on Wednesday.”Watson has had few injury concerns recently. He was last unfit during the 2009 Ashes, when he had an issue with his thigh. Later that year, he experienced a niggle during Australia’s one-day series in India, but managed to play with his physio Victor Popov’s help. India are currently without their leading fast bowler, Zaheer Khan, who is still recovering from ankle surgery. They have included 24-year-old Umesh Yadav and 22-year-old Varun Aaron in the Test squad to play West Indies, after the pair impressed with their pace in the recent one-day series against England.”It’s important that the team management ensures they don’t play too many matches,” Sehwag told television channel . “Fast bowlers are prone to injuries and when they get injured their pace goes. Besides, when you are injured, your comeback becomes very difficult.”Sehwag was picked in the squad for the first Test squad against West Indies after recovering from a shoulder injury for which he had surgery towards the end of the IPL. He was rushed back to play the last two Tests of India’s disastrous series in England earlier this year, but admitted his return was a mistake. “I knew I was needed. I tried my best but I realised I hurried my comeback in England. It was a difficult time in England for the whole team… so many injuries.”India’s selectors have rested players for various series and have had distinct teams for Test and limited-overs games in the recent past. In 2011, he enjoyed a prolific campaign in the Friends Life t20, amassing 485 runs at an average of 40.41, including his maiden hundred in the format, off just 57 balls against Gloucestershire at Beckenham.During the 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40 campaign, he was Kent’s leading wicket-taker, claiming 18 victims in ten appearances with his right-arm seam, at an average of 24.27. With the bat he added 246 runs at an average of 27.33.
