Liverpool’s 2019 summer pre-season fixtures are now behind them as they gear up for the start of the new Premier League campaign.
But the Reds have one final challenge before they face off against Norwich in the new campaign opener.
On 4 August, Jurgen Klopp’s troops will head to Wembley where they will clash with last year’s champions of England Manchester City in the Community Shield match.

And if their latest game is any indication at all, Liverpool are ready to face their big rivals.
The English team played against Olympique Lyon in their last friendly match and they won 3-1.
Their youngster Rhian Brewster also played a part in the clash and has now quickly taken to Instagram to share a post-match snap.
Soon enough, some other youngsters replied to his photo.
Tariq Uwakwe, Chelsea’s young player, told Brewster it is now “go time” and Harvey Elliott, the Reds’ newest signing, called him his “brother”.
There were also some other players and friends who commented below the snap and from the looks of it, Brewster seems to be quite a popular figure among the younger crop of players.

The midfielder is arguably one of the most promising talents to have emerged from Scotland in recent years and has already caught the attention of Chelsea boss Frank Lampard following an impressive second half performance in the Blues pre-season victory over St Patrick’s Athletic.

Nowadays you never really get to see players letting their hair down and have a drink to relax after a season finishes, a trophy is won, or they just fancy a night off.

Geoff Hurst played his final game for England in The 1972, European Championship, losing 3-1 to West Germany. In 1975 he was made an MBE, and went on to play for West Bromwich Albion, Cork Celtic and Seattle Sounders, before finishing his playing career in 1976.

وواصل: “لذلك سنلعب بأمان مع العلم بأننا فريق جيد من خلال تجاوز هذه الغيابات، يُمكننا تجاوزهم في مباراة الغد، على الرغم من مشاكلنا”.

Loads of Manchester United fans have been discussing the future of Paul Pogba, after a report suggested the midfielder will go nowhere this summer.
Nobody is safe within the current squad at Old Trafford, and after such a horrific end to the season there is truly no exit that would come as surprise.
Pogba inevitably splits opinion amongst fans, as the 26 year-old recorded 13 goals and nine assists in the league this year, but has never really convinced the wider fan base he is the leader they need.
According to The Daily Mail though, the World Cup winner will definitely stay in Manchester this year, as finding a midfield partner to get the best out of him is a “priority”.
Manchester Evening News have also claimed the Frenchman is pivotal to the club’s plans, per United Xtra.
Fans are split on the reports, with many celebrating the dynamic ace as crucial to their future, while others just want to see the back of a player they believe has turned his back on the shirt.

يرى النجم البرازيلي ريفالدو، أن إيسكو لاعب ريال مدريد، قد يتجه لمغادرة النادي الملكي، مثلما فعل خاميس رودريجيز، الذي انضم إلى إيفرتون في السوق الصيفي.
نجم برشلونة السابق، أبدى رأيه والذي نشرته صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية، وقال: “لقد أمضى إيسكو أيامًا رائعة في النادي وكان عضوًا مهمًا في الفريق لفترة طويلة”.
وأضاف: “لكن هذا لم يعد وضعه في البرنابيو بعد الآن، لذلك قد ينظر إلى وضع خاميس رودريجيز كمثال جيد لكيفية المضي قدمًا بنجاح”.
وأردف ريفالدو: “المهاجم الكولومبي يخطف الأضواء في إنجلترا مع إيفرتون ولن أتفاجأ إذا قرر إيسكو اتخاذ خطوة مماثلة في المستقبل القريب”.
